Advice for parents

for peaceful holidays

To ensure that your child gets the most out of his or her lesson, please think about :

  • Equipping them correctly: anorak, hat or cap, mittens, glasses, sun cream, handkerchiefs;
  • Mark his clothes and skis;
  • Avoid following the lessons and talking to your child during the lessons;
  • Inform us of any health problems your child may have;
  • Helmets are strongly recommended for children on the slopes;
  • Leave it up to the instructors to decide whether or not to change classes.

Your child is on holiday and the aim is that he or she has fun and wants to come back.
So respect their rhythm and don't try to make them a champion before their time!

⚠️ IMPORTANT: ARE YOU LEAVING FROM ORELLE?

If you access the ski area via Orelle, please pay particular attention to the meeting point for your ski lesson.

Do not book a lesson in Val Thorens if you are leaving from Orelle

Ski and snowboard lessons in Val Thorens start at a fixed time. To reach Val Thorens from Orelle, you need to use the lifts that provide access to the Val Thorens ski area.

The lesson times in Val Thorens are not compatible with the opening hours of the lifts from Orelle. You will not be able to arrive at the lesson meeting point on time.

👉 If you are staying in Orelle or accessing the ski area via the Orelle gondola, please book your lessons with ESF Orelle, with a meeting point in Orelle.
